Do You Need Guided Meditation for Stress Reduction?

We need to deal with different thing everyday. By the time we walk out of our houses we are already face to face with a lot of things. When we get to work we have to deal with cramped elevators, swamped desks, moody bosses and clients and of course we also have to deal with irritating officemates. A certain degree of stress is the result of all these combined. We are always tensed and uptight for the most part of the day. All throughout the day we have to face reality. At the end of the day we are too tired simply because of all these that we have to go through. In order to relax at home we might need to do some guided meditation.

The type of meditation that takes you on a journey through a narration is commonly known as guided meditation. A script that is written especially for meditating is usually read during a guided meditation. A CD can be used for a guided meditation or someone can read the script for you. Guided meditation requires you to let go of all conscious thoughts and allowing your subconscious to take over.
